Harmony
Harmony is the newest addition at Meadowood Health and Rehabilitation Center on the O'Connor Woods campus and is home for up to 20 residents providing quality memory care for those living with dementia. We know that people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia live in the moment and while many losses can occur through the course of the disease, one’s personhood stays intact. At Harmony it is our mission to nurture and celebrate the wholeness of our residents during each moment of their life, and continue to focus on remaining abilities rather than disabilities.
Our dementia program provides medical services not offered in other memory care settings in the area. The nursing staff serve our residents’ 24-hours a day, seven days a week, which allows medical services to be administered based on the resident’s individual needs. A full range of rehabilitation and therapeutic programming complements the skilled nursing facility, offering on-site evaluation and treatment by licensed physical, occupational and speech therapist. An electronic monitoring system provides the latest perimeter notification system directly to each caregiver. Recently remodeled resident rooms provide a comfortable living environment with treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and personality of each resident.
