Scot Sinclair - Executive Director
Scot has been with O'Connor Woods since prior to its opening in 1990. Formerly the Executive Director of the Sequoias, a life care community in San Francisco, Scot has a passion for creating an outstanding, caring community, and he brings strong financial skills to the organization. Scot is a graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, and he did graduate work at Ohio State University

Marcia Fitzgerald - Senior Administrator for Independent Living

Marcia Fitzgerald - Senior Administrator for Independent Living
Hired in 1988 as the Marketing Director for O'Connor Woods, Marcia was promoted to Senior Administrator for Independent Living and continues to oversee the marketing along with several other departments.  She is a UCLA graduate and received her MBA from Loyola Marymount University.  Problem solving is her forte and she loves working with seniors
 

Penny Mallette  - Administrator, Assisted Living

Penny Mallette  - Administrator, Assisted Living
Penny joined O'Connor Woods in 1997, having managed the Assisted Living and Residential Services for the Masonic Homes for 9 years.  Penny instills a sense of compassion and caring in her staff and is an excellent role model for them.  She takes time with residents and communicates with their families.  Penny has a degree in Health Sciences from California State University.  She is a Licensed Nurse and a certified Director of Social Services. Our assisted living has never been cited with a deficiency during the State Department of Social Services inspection.  Her knowledge and high standards have made this possible.

Cathy Otte – Skilled Nursing Administrator

Cathy has worked in skilled nursing facilities for twenty years.  She earned both a BA and MA in Communicative Disorders from the University of the Pacific and was a licensed Speech Pathologist and Rehabilitation Director prior to coming Meadowood. Cathy was one of the first employees at Meadowood when it opened in 1997. She was hired as a Speech Pathologist, and was responsible for the opening of the Special Care Unit. Within two years, she became the Care Coordinator, overseeing the Medicare and Managed Care programs.  In 2004 she completed the Administrator in Training Program, and a year ago received her Nursing Home Administrator’s license. Cathy was the Assistant Administrator for one year and today is now the Administrator of Meadowood.  

Eric Sholty - Facilities Director

Eric Sholty - Facilities Director
Eric has over 15 years experience in not-for-profit, multi-site senior living communities. His extensive experience in facilities management, project development, campus operations and strategic planning & implementation are a tremendous asset for our organization. Additionally, as a Licensed RCFE (Assisted Living) Administrator, Eric brings an all inclusive perspective to our full continuum of care. When you meet Eric you will immediately learn that another of the gifts he brings to our campus is a passion for excellence and a genuine enthusiasm for the Mission of the O’Connor Woods community.

Linda Kay - Marketing Director

Linda Kay - Marketing Director
Linda Kay's professional background in sales and marketing includes working with clients like Transamerica, Windsor Vineyards and Buena Vista Pictures. She joined the O'Connor Woods marketing team in 2004. Her passion for what she does was inspired by helping her parents through their aging process.
 

Ilona Corpus – Director of Dining Services

Ilona was born and raised in Hungary.  She came to the USA in June of 2000 and joined the O'Connor Woods staff in June of 2008.  She came to this country with a strong restaurant and management background, which brings excellence to our community. She says that her position here fulfills a life-long dream of being of value to seniors while doing what she loves to do.  Ilona appreciates the day-to-day connection to the residents, and says she learns a lot from their knowledge of life, which she will cherish forever.

Sharon Pohlman - Resident Services Director

Sharon Pohlman - Resident Services Director
Sharon is delighted to join OCW and have the opportunity to connect with residents and contribute to their joy and quality of moments on a daily basis. She brings over 20 years of diverse experience working in special events, community relations, sales and advertising design. She is a local graduate of UOP with a BA in Speech Communications and worked for years at Nordstrom, The Seattle Times and many other companies in Washington. She also worked predominantly with seniors aboard Crystal Cruises’ ships managing boutiques and escorting over 150 port tours. Sharon has a passion for gleaning the wisdom of seniors, as well as providing resources and experiences to engage, enrich and empower their lives.

Sister Mary Ann Hills, M.S., M.F.C.C. - Pastoral Counselor

Sister Mary Ann Hills, M.S., M.F.C.C. - Pastoral Counselor
Sister Mary Ann brings a great skill set to our community.  She provides many programs and discussion groups to support the growth of meaning and purpose in our resident's lives.  She conducts periodic services in our chapel and is available for one on one visits to residents in their homes and in the hospital.
 

Kimberly Baumgarten, RN - Health Clinic Manager & Clinical Services Coordinator

Kimberly Baumgarten, R.N., F.C.N. - Health Clinic Manager & Clinical Services Coordinator
Kimberly is a compassionate and knowledgeable member of the O'Connor Woods team.  Her goal is to help residents reach and maintain optimal physical, mental and spiritual health. She assesses new residents for admission to our community, is called upon for emergencies and acts as a medical liaison and advocate for both residents and their families. In her role as Health Clinic manager, she provides first aid, organizes flu vaccine clinics, health fairs and more. Helping others live their best possible life is her passion.
