Renata Bricka, MA in Fine Arts, Art History and Costume Designer – This two-part lecture series focuses on women’s private and social lives during the Belle Époque. From upper-bourgeois to artists, hat-makers and cancan dancers—all weaving a colorful socio-economic tapestry of Paris. In this time of prosperity, the wonders of the era were not the reality of life for a large economic underclass.
